Peningkatan Maharah al-Qira’ah melalui Metode Kalimat Musalsalah: Sebuah Studi Eksperimen di SMP Al-Berr / Increasing Maharah al-Qira'ah through the Musalsalah Sentence Method: An Experimental Study at Al-Berr Middle School

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the musalsalah sentence game method in increasing the maharah al-qira’ah of class IX students at SMP Al-Berr Pandaan. The research method used is quantitative Pre experimental one group pretest & posttest design. The sample used was 20 students. Data collection using unstructured interviews and pre-test & post-test, data analysis using 2 statistical tests, namely the paired sample t test and the n-gain test. The results of this study are that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results, seen from the results of the t test which produces a sig-2 tailed value of 0.005. and the results of the n-gain test of 0.73 which is in the high category, from both analysis results it can be concluded that the application of the musalsalah sentence game method is very effective in increasing the maharah al-qira’ah of junior high school students.

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode permainan kalimat musalsalah dalam meningkatkan maharah al-qira’ah siswa kelas IX di SMP Al-Berr Pandaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif Pre eksperimental one group pretest & posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara tidak terstruktur dan pre-test & post-test, analisis data menggunakan 2 uji statistik yaitu uji t sampel berpasangan dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test, dilihat dari hasil uji t yang menghasilkan nilai sig-2 tailed sebesar 0,005. dan hasil uji n-gain sebesar 0,73 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, dari kedua hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan kalimat musalsalah sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan maharah al-qira’ah siswa SMP.
